Vita is an industry veteran who understands the creative craft and what’s needed to continue to push our industry forward. With her eyes trained sharply on the future, she has developed evolving tools and frameworks that help the organization produce work that is an economic multiplier as well as award-winning. She’s worked with top clients and brands like Walmart, Beiersdorf, Kraft/Mondelēz, Verizon, AT&T and American Express. She has also worked on Ad Council campaigns for Smokey Bear, as well as for retirement savings and mental health initiatives.

What’s more, Vita works hard to cultivate the next generation of industry stars. “I want to leave the advertising industry a better place, especially for those who will come after me,” she says. The fact is, although there are many more improvements to be made, Vita has already changed things for the better. A powerhouse of inspiration, she mentors both students and professionals, helps clients and the industry at large embrace change, and campaigns heartily for DEI in the workforce, the workplace and the work, for which we have great responsibility. A fierce leader for inclusion, Vita wears many hats and each of her endeavors is focused on progressing the industry and moving the creative forward.

Vita has devoted her enthusiasm, skills and energy to FCB since joining the agency in 1996. Since then, she has earned numerous accolades, including most recently in 2023 being named to “The Adweek  50,” which honors indispensable, behind-the-scenes industry leaders, and celebrated as “Chief Strategy Officer of the Year” by Ad Age. Vita has also appeared on Adweek’s annual list of “Women Trailblazers” and the 4A’s “100 People Who Make Advertising Great.”

Vita serves on the boards of the 4A’s and the ANA Educational Foundation and is a member of the Ad Council’s Campaign Review Committee. She has also judged the Effie Awards, the Clio Awards, The One Show, the Advertising Research Foundation David Ogilvy Awards and the ADCOLOR Awards. In 2019, she was selected to serve on the inaugural Creative Strategy Jury at Cannes Lions and, in 2022, on the Titanium Jury.

Vita is an HBCU graduate of Howard University (BBA, MBA). She is also very active in her church, having recently served on a task force that successfully completed developing the church’s property into housing and an outreach center for the underserved of her community. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and in her leisure time, she enjoys traveling and experiencing the world through different cultures.
