Before joining FCB London, Owen was one of the founders and the Creative Chairman of Farm Communications, a top-50 UK advertising agency with clients including DaimlerChrysler, the UK Government and Nestlé.

He started his career globetrotting through Chiat/Day New York, LA, Sydney and Brisbane before joining Chiat/Day London. He later became one of the founding members of St. Luke’s, the first advertising agency cooperative, and then moved to Partners BDDH (now Havas) as a senior copywriter.

Owen joined HHCL & Partners as a senior creative and was lucky enough to be part of the team that helped the agency win Campaign Agency of the Decade in 1999. In the same year, he left to set up his own agency.

Owen has worked with numerous brands, from Mercedes and BMW to the UK Government and Andrex. Since he became Chief Creative Officer of FCB London, the agency has won 39 Cannes Lions, including a Titanium, three Grands Prix and an inaugural Glass Lion. FCB London was also the winner of the first One Show Fusion Pencil for diversity in front of and behind the camera.
